Clara de Álvaro Anllo

I am a transport product designer with a keen interest in physical design processes and a strong foundation in digital practices.

Having developed more traditional artistic skills at school and college in Spain, I came to London in 2011 to study at Central Saint Martins, and later moved to Birmingham to study at Aston University.

While studying at Aston I was offered the position of Design Engineer at Juno Racing cars, which I held for one year before returning to finish my degree.

At Juno I was responsible for creating new car designs and updating existing designs, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing my designs go into production.

I involve myself with, and enjoy, every part of the design process, from initial sketches to finished CAD models, and I have recently been devoting a great deal of my time to physical modelling.

Working with my hands and creating something tangible gives me a sense of satisfaction that I find irresistible; I hope to continue working in this way, bridging the gap between the creative and physical realms.
